Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, Saint Francis can meet you!
His life, centered on Christ—humble and poor, marked by simplicity and fraternity—continues to resonate in our hearts and challenge us, 800 years after his birth into heaven.

How can we live passionately for Christ today—in the Church, in your workplace, in your place of mission, in your relationships? How can we not “lose the spirit of prayer” while going “into the world”? How can we grow in our relationship with the Lord and hear His call deep within us?

Here are some proposals for the year 2026, and already a few directions for the following year, which will be special for us, the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary!

Mission as a Family!

As partners of the Franciscans, the FMM take part in various initiatives throughout the year:

  • Le Poulailler: a Paris-based spiritual afterwork held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Friars Minor convent, for students and young professionals: prayer, social time, teachings, and spiritual sharing, in Franciscan simplicity!
  • La Cordée: a small “fraternity group” to deepen Franciscan spirituality (year-long commitment – in several cities in France and in Switzerland)

Summer 2026:

  • The Caravan: embark on an unforgettable traveling missionary experience from July 25 to August 2! All groups gather at La Cordelle in Vézelay on August 2 for a great celebration of the Franciscan family!
  • The Assisi Route: THE pilgrimage not to be missed, following in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi in Italy! From August 5 to 16 (departures from several cities in France).
