The vocation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary is to be both adorers and missionaries.
Our life is rooted in an encounter with Christ, particularly in the Eucharist. Each day, prayer and Eucharistic adoration nourish our mission and teach us to recognize God’s presence at the heart of the world.
Following Saint Francis of Assisi, we seek to live the Gospel in simplicity, fraternity, and trust in God. The Franciscan spirit calls us to a life that is poor and simple, open to all, attentive to the least, and respectful of all creation.
Following the example of the Virgin Mary, the first disciple and servant of the Lord, we desire to bring Christ to the world. Like her, we seek to be available to God’s will and present wherever there is need.
Our vocation is missionary:
to be sent wherever humanity is searching for love, truth, and hope.
In the different countries where we live, we share in the lives of local people and commit ourselves to a wide range of missions: education, support for the most vulnerable, dialogue between cultures and religions, and presence among the sick and those who are isolated.
Everywhere, we simply seek to bear witness to the Gospel through our life, our service, and our prayer.
