Youth space

Welcome! Peace and Joy

Are you between 18 and 35 years old and looking to spend time with God, deepen your faith, discover Franciscan spirituality, or simply take a break from your daily routine?

Throughout the year, the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary offer opportunities in Paris and the surrounding area to walk, pray, share, serve, and meet other young people.

Following in the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi, we want to take time to reflect on a few questions: How can we live the Gospel today? How can we make room for God in our daily lives? How can we discern what we are called to?

Le Poulailler Franciscain in Paris 🐔

Are you between 18 and 35, living in Paris, and looking to meet other young people, share your faith, and discover Franciscan spirituality? Le Poulailler is a Franciscan after-work gathering for young adults in Paris.

Meetings take place at the Saint-François Friary, 7 rue Marie-Rose, Paris 14th arrondissement (Alésia metro station). The evening begins at 7 p.m. with Vespers, followed by Eucharistic adoration, then continues at 8 p.m. with drinks and refreshments, until 10 p.m. Other activities are also organised throughout the year, including outreach to people in need, games evenings, film nights, and spiritual hikes.

This year, Sister Fanny, a Franciscan Missionary of Mary, and Brother Vianney, an OFM Franciscan friar, are jointly responsible for Le Poulailler, together with a team of other members of the Franciscan family.

The theme for this year is “Go and repair my Church.”

While praying before the crucifix in the church of San Damiano, Francis heard Christ calling him to repair His Church. At first, he understood these words literally and began rebuilding the church itself, before gradually coming to understand the much broader meaning of this call. More than 800 years later, these words still invite us to reflect together on what it means to live and build the Church today.

Upcoming gatherings in 2026–2027: 15 October, 19 November, 17 December, 21 January, 18 February, 18 March, 15 April, 20 May, and 17 June.
